There was definitely a buzz in the air when Sarjano Khalid entered the KrixXonix Theatre of SH Digital Media. Sarjano, who is well-known for his captivating appearance and rising stardom in Malayalam films, brought fun and excitement with him.
The purpose of the evening was not just to watch Maarivillin Gopurangal but also to experience the excitement of a movie theatre unlike anything he had ever experienced before. And in keeping with his colourful nature, Sarjano made sure to make an impact with his upbeat manner, enjoyable exchanges, and admiration for the action-packed parts of the film.
It was my pleasure to welcome Sarjano Khalid, as the Director of SH Digital Media, together with our team's General Head, Mr. Giju Mathew. Sarjano greeted us warmly, his ever-charming smile on his face. You could tell he was excited to watch his action scenes come to life on the big screen because of his contagious energy.
He was clearly excited and said, "I'm excited to see how the theatre handles those fight scenes." He said he was eager to check out the KRIXXoniX Theatre because of its stellar reputation for sound and visual excellence.
The Laughter and Banter
Sarjano and his co-stars were spotted joking around before the film started. He joked about their scenes and made fun of the parts that hadn't gone as planned during production, demonstrating his close friendship with Vincy Aloshious. Sarjano’s carefree attitude made the atmosphere light and fun, setting the tone for an enjoyable evening.
Action-Packed Reactions
It was clear that Sarjano was waiting for his action scenes to appear in the film. And his face glowed with anticipation as those moments at last came. He leaned forward in his chair, clearly amazed by the way the sound system in the cinema brought out the full force of every punch and kick.
"This is next-level sound,” he whispered to others. And, every action had greater impact and every punch felt more real because of our KRIXXoniX Theatre's immersive acoustics. Sarjano was incredibly enthusiastic and his action sequences seemed larger than life. Sarjano’s lively spirit was present throughout the screening, making the experience even more enjoyable for everyone around him.
A New Appreciation for Action
Once the screening was over, Sarjano was with all smiles. He expressed his excitement about the way his action sequences sounded and looked in the theatre and said it had increased his appreciation for the effort that went into making such moments.
“I’ve watched these scenes before, but this was something else" he said excitedly.
“The sound here adds a whole new layer to the fight scenes it makes them more intense, more real. It’s like you’re in the middle of the action.” His words reflected a newfound appreciation for the technical side of filmmaking, especially when it came to sound design and acoustics.
The way the theatre was able to strike a balance between the loud, dynamic moments with the more subtle, emotional ones, also impressed Sarjano. “The theatre didn’t just handle the action well it made the quieter scenes hit harder too,” he noted, clearly appreciating the full range of the theatre’s capabilities.
Fun moments of the Evening
The cutest part was probably when Sarjano role-played one of his fighting techniques after the movie. He chuckled at the crew, "I could definitely hear my punches more in there," as he threw a fictitious punch into the air.
A Casual Yet Heartfelt
Sarjano Khalid had a great time and developed a greater appreciation for films throughout his night at KRIXXoniX Theatre. His catching delight at witnessing his action sequences in such a vibrant environment spread to the cast and crew, adding to the fun vibe of the evening. Sarjano was more than just an actor viewing his own performance; in an advanced theatre like KRIXXoniX, he took the time to appreciate the small nuances that really bring a movie to life.
As he said goodbye to us, Sarjano’s final words perfectly captured the spirit of the evening : “I’m definitely coming back here for more action. This theatre knows how to make it epic!”
