The new XPA-2 Gen3 is a two-channel audiophile-grade power amplifier designed to perfectly power a superb quality stereo or 2.1 channel music system, as well as the two critical main channels in a 5.1 or 7.1 home theater setup. By adding an XPA-2 to your existing high-quality AVR, you can dramatically enhance your two-channel music listening experience, unlocking new levels of enjoyment and audio fidelity.

Power output

The XPA-2 Gen3 delivers impressive power output, providing 300 watts per channel RMS into 8 ohms, and 490 watts per channel RMS into 4 ohms, with both channels driven simultaneously for robust, dynamic sound reproduction.

Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS)

A key enhancement in the XPA series is the newly designed, high current regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS). This powerful, intelligent supply combines the benefits of traditional transformer-based designs while eliminating their typical drawbacks. Capable of delivering over 3 kW of fully regulated power, it ensures optimum performance across diverse load conditions and dynamic musical peaks without compression or limitation. The SMPS is also notably more efficient, reliable, and lighter than conventional power supplies.

The amplifier offers gold-plated five-way speaker binding posts with clear shields, compatible with bare wires, lugs, or banana plugs. Each channel provides the choice of balanced or unbalanced inputs, independently selectable via durable metal toggle switches. Remote trigger input and output connections allow seamless control integration with other trigger-enabled equipment. The XPA-2 Gen3 supports worldwide AC line voltages from 100 VAC to 250 VAC (50/60 Hz) and uses a standard IEC power inlet compatible with most audiophile power cables.
