The Concerto META is the first Q series 3-way unit bookshelf speakers, with technology from higher-end ranges including The Reference and R Series, featuring the latest Uni-Q driver array, improved bass, and a stylish cabinet.

The KEF Q Series speakers are packed with cutting-edge features designed to deliver an exceptional listening experience. At the heart of their performance is Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™), a breakthrough innovation that absorbs 99% of unwanted high-frequency sound from the rear of the tweeter, dramatically reducing distortion and allowing for a clearer, more natural sound. This is paired with KEF’s advanced 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with MAT, which positions the tweeter in the acoustic center of the midrange cone, resulting in more accurate acoustics and an incredibly lifelike soundstage.

The refined crossover design further enhances clarity by ensuring each driver transitions smoothly, reducing phase issues and enhancing overall coherence. The three-way design used in select models allows for greater separation between high, mid, and low frequencies, improving detail and balance. For deep, impactful bass, the speakers utilize a hybrid aluminium bass driver that delivers low-end punch without sacrificing precision.

Aesthetically, the speakers are available in elegant Satin Black, Satin White, and Walnut finishes to complement any interior style. Magnetic grilles offer both visual appeal and protection, maintaining the clean design without visible fasteners. Enhanced 3-Way Speaker Design

One of the most significant upgrades in this iteration is the transition from a 2.5-way to a 3-way speaker design. This updated configuration separates the frequency ranges, with the Uni-Q driver handling the high and midrange frequencies while a newly designed bass driver is dedicated to managing low frequencies. This design enhances clarity by allowing the tweeter to transmit high-frequency sound over a smoother surface, reducing distortion in the lower midrange frequencies for an improved listening experience.

Refined Crossover for Superior Sound

The Q Series features a refined crossover design, the result of over 1,000 precise measurements for each speaker model. This meticulous engineering ensures that all components work harmoniously, delivering a smooth and coherent sound. Uni-Q® Technology

By minimising these acoustic disturbances, Shadow Flare allows the Uni-Q driver array to function at its highest potential, resulting in a cleaner, more precise reproduction of fine details such as delicate cymbal work or the subtle harmonics of a piano.
