At its core, the MCD12000 uses two ESS SABRE PRO ES9038PRO DACs one dedicated entirely to the left channel and one to the right. Each DAC operates in Octal-Balanced Mono mode, leveraging all eight internal outputs to achieve exceptional clarity, channel separation, and low noise. ESS’s HyperStream® II architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator ensure pristine digital conversion with superb timing accuracy. To further enhance purity, the MCD12000 features separate analog and digital power supplies and employs an ultra-quiet R-Core transformer designed to minimize noise radiation, giving your music a blacker background and more lifelike presentation.
