Features
The HALO P6 is equipped with an ESS Sabre32 Reference DAC (ES9018K2M) for exceptional digital-to-analog conversion, delivering stunning detail and clarity. Its asynchronous USB 2.0 input supports PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and decodes native DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, as well as DoP DSD. Coaxial and optical digital inputs accept PCM up to 192kHz/24-bit, while analog bass management with high- and low-pass crossovers ensures seamless integration with subwoofers and main speakers. A home theater bypass input allows for easy integration into surround sound systems, and a front-panel subwoofer level control provides quick adjustments. For personal listening, the P6 includes a dedicated high-current headphone amplifier (TI TPA6120), and vinyl lovers will appreciate the phono input compatible with MM, MC, and MI cartridges, with selectable 100 Ω or 47k Ω load settings. There’s also a front-panel Aux input with an automatic +12 dB gain stage for portable devices, along with five pairs of RCA line-level inputs and one pair of balanced XLR analog inputs. Outputs include balanced XLR and RCA left/right preamp outputs, plus one balanced XLR and two RCA subwoofer outputs.
Tone adjustments are easy with bass and treble controls, which feature relay bypass from the remote or front panel. The rear panel offers IR input and loop output jacks, a 12-volt trigger output, and the unit comes with a back-lit remote control with discrete buttons for all functions. With 0.5W standby power consumption, the P6 meets Energy Star and EU efficiency standards, combining high-end performance with energy-conscious design.
