The Accuphase Oxygen-Free Copper Series cables use a densely braided outer conductor of oxygen-free copper, reliably shielding the two twisted internal conductors also made of highly pure copper. These center conductors integrate two different diameters of oxygen-free copper strands along with a low-resistance silver-plated copper wire, optimizing conductivity and minimizing transmission loss. Surrounding this is a triple-layer insulation system composed of high dielectric polyethylene and foamed polyethylene, structured in a dual-core design to ensure minimal DC resistance and superior signal integrity. For shielding, the cable employs a dual-layer system: 192 ultra-fine (0.1 mm) high-purity copper wires braided to a high density, paired with an aluminum foil tape layer. This advanced shielding provides low capacitance and robust protection against externally induced noise, maintaining a clean and accurate audio signal throughout.
