The Accuphase ALC-30 is a premium-quality 3-meter balanced audio cable designed with 3-pin Cannon (XLR) connectors to seamlessly integrate with professional and high-end audio equipment. Compliant with the BTS standard, the cable ensures that the ground pin is connected directly to the shield, providing superior noise rejection and stable grounding for balanced audio signals.
Constructed with Accuphase’s Oxygen-Free Copper Series cable technology, the ALC-30 features a densely braided outer conductor made of oxygen-free copper that effectively shields the two twisted internal conductors, also crafted from highly pure copper. This sophisticated shielding design results in negligible transfer losses and exceptional resistance to electromagnetic interference and induced noise, preserving the integrity of the audio signal.
The center conductor core wires are a hybrid of highly pure oxygen-free copper and silver-plated soft copper wires, selected for their excellent transfer characteristics and low resistance. These center conductors are formed by combining two types of oxygen-free copper wires of different diameters with silver-plated soft copper wires, ensuring optimal conductivity and minimal distortion.
Encasing the conductors is a triple-layer insulation system, composed of high dielectric resistance polyethylene, foamed polyethylene, and a durable interstitial core. This dual-core design significantly reduces transfer losses and DC resistance, enabling clean, high-definition audio delivery even across longer cable runs.
Advanced shielding is achieved through 192 ultra-fine (0.1 mm) high-purity copper wires braided tightly at high density, complemented by a layer of aluminum foil tape. This dual shielding approach maintains low capacitance and offers superior protection against external interference, guaranteeing distortion-free, natural, and well-balanced sound reproduction.
