Features
The Anniversary Edition turntable is a special 60th anniversary model designed to celebrate the essence of analog audio, combining classic craftsmanship with modern enhancements. It features a fully manual, belt-drive operation system capable of playing records at both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM speeds. At its core, it includes an AT-VM95 cartridge compatible with the full VM95 Series of replacement styli, offering flexibility for audiophiles. This edition comes with two stylus options: a standard 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus and an exclusive, clear-body Shibata stylus for a more refined listening experience. The turntable’s chassis is crafted from a 30 mm-thick, low-resonance, high-density clear acrylic, which enhances sound clarity by minimising vibrations. A precision motor equipped with a speed-sensor system ensures the platter maintains accurate rotation. Complementing this is a transparent acrylic platter that offers consistent, stable spinning.
The carbon-fiber tonearm is paired with a metal lift and base, and features a Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) adjustment for optimal cartridge alignment. Tracking performance is further improved by an adjustable dynamic anti-skate mechanism. A lightweight AT-HS4SV head-shell is included, and the unit stands on specially designed, height-adjustable isolation feet to reduce external vibrations. An external AC adapter handles AC/DC conversion outside the chassis, helping minimize internal noise. Additional accessories include a dual RCA stereo cable, a 45 RPM adapter, and a removable hinged dust cover for protection and convenience.
