Description
The Bowers & Wilkins 706 S3 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers offer a refined listening experience with high-end components and thoughtful design. At the heart of the speaker is a 1" decoupled carbon dome tweeter, engineered for enhanced accuracy and extended high-frequency response, reaching up to 28 kHz. This tweeter significantly improves upon previous aluminum dome designs by raising the breakup threshold to 47 kHz, ensuring cleaner treble and more detailed sound.
Complementing the highs is a 6.5" Continuum cone woofer/midrange driver, known for its ability to deliver smooth, natural vocals and clear instrumental separation. Housed in a curved cabinet baffle with individually mounted driver pods, the speaker is designed for optimal acoustics and minimal distortion. Supporting 30 to 120W of power and featuring dual terminals for bi-wiring, the 706 S3 allows for flexible configurations. Additional highlights include a Flowport for controlled bass response and compatibility with optional FS-700 S3 floor stands. Available in elegant finishes such as Gloss Black, Satin White, and Mocha, these speakers blend premium sound with sophisticated style.
