Description

This two-way in-ceiling loudspeaker offers high-quality acoustics in an incredibly discreet package. It features a decoupled Diamond dome tweeter and a single bass/midrange Continuum driver (7in) with anti-resonance plug. All the drive units are located in a rotatable mini-baffle, allowing the user to ‘toe in’ the drive units for the best performance.

CCM8.5 D's backbox is fully Matrix braced, for extra rigidity and improved performance. The backbox also includes bi-wirable cables that are guided to the terminal panel through tubes and connect to the baffle with a multi-pin connector. CCM8.5 D has also been developed to fit into existing back boxes enabling customers who purchased the original CCM8.5 to easily upgrade.

Aluminium Tweeter ‘Wing’

The aluminium tweeter ‘wing’ is designed to support and stabilize the tweeter assembly while improving the dispersion of high frequencies. This design helps deliver clearer and more consistent high-frequency performance across the listening area.

Rotatable Aluminum Mini-Baffle Allows ‘Toe-In’

The rotatable aluminum mini-baffle allows the drive units to be angled toward the listening position. This ‘toe-in’ capability enables users to optimize sound direction and achieve the best possible audio performance within the room.

Diamond Dome, Nautilus Tube-Loaded Tweeter

The Diamond Dome tweeter with Nautilus tube loading delivers exceptional high-frequency detail and clarity. The tube-loaded design helps absorb unwanted resonances from the rear of the tweeter, resulting in cleaner and more accurate sound reproduction.

Anti-Resonance Plug Flowport

The anti-resonance plug Flowport is designed to reduce unwanted vibrations and improve airflow within the speaker system. This helps produce cleaner, more controlled bass while maintaining clarity in the midrange frequencies.
