Description
The Bowers & Wilkins HTM82 D4 is a dedicated centre-channel speaker designed to deliver uncompromising performance in home theatre systems built around the more compact 803 D4 or 804 D4 models. Its carefully engineered design features a smaller Continuum™ cone midrange driver, perfectly matched in size and voicing to its partnering speakers, ensuring seamless integration and a consistent tonal balance across the front soundstage. This precision tuning allows dialogue and vocals to be reproduced with striking clarity, while the powerful bass units and Diamond Dome tweeter add scale, depth, and definition to every soundtrack. Compact yet highly capable, the HTM82 D4 combines elegance with advanced acoustic engineering, making it the ideal centre-channel choice for high-performance, space-conscious cinema setups. Reverse Wrap Cabinet
Instead of a conventional loudspeaker box, our cabinets are made from a continuous curved section of wood, with the drive units mounted at the heart of the curvature. This stiffer, more inert structure resists mechanical resonances far better and also ensures better dispersion of sound.
Continuum™ Cone Midrange
Introduced as a huge evolutionary change for us in 2015, the Continuum cone midrange drive has swiftly become a fundamental element in every Bowers & Wilkins loudspeaker. With exceptionally low noise, it ensures outstanding resolution without coloration or masking of detail.
Decoupled Midrange Assembly
HTM82 D4 has a dedicated midrange cone using three key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, Biomimetic Suspension and midrange decoupling, the latter ensuring minimal interference from the operation of the loudspeaker’s bass drivers. The result is outstanding clarity.
