The Elac IC 1005 marks the entry into the world of built-in loudspeakers. Its compact external and fitting dimensions make it ideal for installation in walls or ceilings. Not only is it perfect for virtually invisible stereo or multichannel installations, it also makes an excellent addition to conventional floor standing or bookshelf loudspeakers. The IC 1005 is easy to install, extremely robust, and blessed with absolutely authentic sound.

This 70-watt in-ceiling loudspeaker delivers powerful and clear audio performance, thanks to its 6-ohm impedance which ensures efficient amplifier use. Designed for versatile installation, it fits seamlessly into in-wall or in-ceiling structures up to 35 mm thick. Its coaxial design optimizes sound throw and fidelity, providing a balanced and immersive listening experience. The speaker features a 20 mm fabric dome tweeter for precise high-frequency reproduction, complemented by a robust 130 mm fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene membrane that enhances durability and sound quality. Additionally, the magnetically-fixed cover grille allows for easy removal and refitting without the need for tools, combining convenience with a sleek, unobtrusive look.
