Included with the MR1 is a measurement microphone and the latest version of EmoQ, Emotiva’s well-regarded automatic room correction system. The MR1 also offers multiple analog and digital audio inputs, and an integrated Bluetooth receiver with aptX.

The amplifier section of the BasX MR1 combines 11 channels of audiophile-grade Class A/B amplification. Powered by a massive, class leading 1,000 VA toroidal transformer driving their exclusive Soft Switch Class H power supply for high efficiency, with cool running, reliable operation. Enhanced ARC and eARC Support

The MR1 supports both standard Audio Return Channel (ARC) and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), allowing compatible TVs to send audio back to the receiver through a single HDMI connection. It automatically detects eARC-compatible devices and enables the appropriate mode. ARC and eARC are supported only through HDMI Output 1, which should be connected to the TV's designated ARC/eARC HDMI input. eARC may also need to be enabled in the TV's settings.

Active HDMI Output Switching

The MR1 allows each HDMI output to be disabled individually, helping prevent an inactive or lower-resolution display from limiting the video signal available to another connected display. For example, when a 1080p TV and a 4K TV are connected simultaneously, disabling the output connected to the 1080p TV when it is not in use can help the 4K display receive the appropriate resolution and HDR signal.

Detailed Surround Sound and Video Performance

The MR1 features six HDMI 2.0b inputs supporting 4K UHD video, HDCP 2.2, and HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Its Analog Devices SHARC digital signal processor supports Dolby Atmos, Dolby Surround, DTS, DTS:X, DTS Neural:X, and other popular audio processing modes for an immersive home theatre experience.
