The SC3012 represents the pinnacle of EVE Audio engineering, designed as a main reference monitor for large recording and mastering studios, film and television facilities, cinema applications, and demanding wall installations. With an extended frequency range of 25 Hz to 21 kHz, a powerful 12-inch woofer, and a maximum SPL of 130 dB, the SC3012 delivers absolute authority across the entire audible spectrum. It is built for professionals who demand uncompromising accuracy, scale, and headroom in critical listening environments.

Engineered for Power, Control, and Precision

At the heart of the SC3012 is a highly powerful amplifier architecture, with one dedicated PWM amplifier per driver. The tweeter and midrange are each driven by 250 W amplifiers, while the low-frequency driver is powered by an 800 W bridged module. This design ensures extremely low distortion, exceptional transient response, and precise control even at very high sound pressure levels. Combined with an ultra-stiff wooden front panel and a specially optimized internal cabinet structure, the SC3012 achieves uniform directivity, clearly defined mids, flawless highs, and a deep, tightly controlled low end.

Advanced Driver Technology

Low frequencies are handled by a double-coated 12-inch SilverCone metal diaphragm woofer with long excursion and very low resonance, delivering clean and effortless bass reproduction down to 25 Hz (-3 dB) with minimal harmonic distortion. The midrange is reproduced by a specially developed 5-inch SilverCone driver using a glass-fiber coated Rohacel™ sandwich cone, ensuring clarity, detail, and tonal accuracy in the most critical frequency range. Both drivers feature EVE Audio’s low-distortion copper cap magnet system, further enhancing transparency and precision.

AMT RS6 High Frequencies Without Compromise

Exclusive to the SC3012 and SC3010 is the Air Motion Transformer RS6, a tweeter that is 2.5 times larger than the RS1, RS2, and RS3 units. Designed to seamlessly connect mid and high frequencies, the RS6 operates with a crossover frequency as low as 1800 Hz, delivering exceptionally smooth directivity and an incredibly well-defined upper midrange and treble. The result is crystal-clear, detailed high-frequency reproduction with outstanding dynamics and virtually no distortion, even at extreme output levels.

Adaptability and Installation Flexibility

The SC3012 is equally suited for free-standing or wall-mounted installations. When used in-wall, the filter controls can be set to “inwall”, and the supplied high-density foam allows the rear-facing bass ports to be sealed for optimal performance. The distinctive silver front module housing the midrange driver and AMT RS6 can be rotated by 90 degrees, enabling both horizontal and vertical placement
