The TS107 is the most compact model in EVE Audio’s ThunderStorm subwoofer range, engineered to deliver controlled and accurate low-frequency extension for professional studio and monitoring environments where space is limited but precision is non-negotiable. With a frequency range of 36 Hz to 300 Hz, a 6.5-inch woofer, and a maximum SPL of 102 dB, the TS107 adds depth, punch, and authority to your monitoring system without overwhelming the room or masking detail.

Clean and Controlled Low-Frequency Performance

All ThunderStorm subwoofers are designed to deliver powerful bass free from port noise and distortion. Instead of a conventional bass-reflex design, the TS107 employs a passive radiator, ensuring smooth, tight, and noise-free low-frequency reproduction even at higher output levels. This approach allows the subwoofer to integrate seamlessly with satellite speakers, providing a solid and accurate low-end foundation for critical listening and precise mix decisions.

Flexible Control for Perfect Room Integration

The TS107 offers extensive control options for effortless adaptation to different rooms and monitoring setups. Switchable satellite filters enable operation in full-range or 80 Hz modes, while variable crossover frequencies from 60 Hz to 140 Hz allow precise tuning to match your monitors and room acoustics. A phase switch (0° / 180°) ensures optimal alignment with your main speakers, resulting in a coherent, balanced, and well-defined low-end response.

Efficient Amplification in a Compact Design

Driven by a highly efficient 100 W PWM amplifier, the TS107 powers a custom-designed 6.5-inch proprietary woofer capable of delivering fast, controlled bass down to 36 Hz. Despite its compact footprint, the TS107 produces impressive output, clarity, and impact, making it an ideal low-frequency extension for nearfield and compact studio monitor systems.

Connectivity and Signal Purity

For maximum flexibility, the TS107 is equipped with balanced XLR inputs and outputs, including stereo in/out, LFE in, and LFE/sub out connections. An additional unbalanced input allows direct integration with compact systems such as the SC203. The internal DSP section, powered by a high-resolution BurrBrown converter, is applied exclusively to the subwoofer channel. The signal path to the satellite speakers remains fully analog, ensuring pristine signal integrity without unnecessary A/D/A conversions.

Pure Satellite Mode and Remote Convenience

When Pure Satellite Mode is activated, the TS107 completely bypasses the subwoofer and DSP filter section, allowing only satellite volume adjustment ideal for situations where sub-bass reinforcement is not required. The included remote control enables convenient adjustment of both the subwoofer level and the overall system volume directly from the listening position, making fine-tuning effortless from your sweet spot.

The Passive Radiator

The defining characteristic of the TS107’s powerful and accurate bass reproduction lies in its passive radiator design, which replaces the conventional bass-reflex port. This eliminates all audible noise caused by air turbulence, ensuring exceptionally clean low-frequency performance.

Unwanted pipe resonances unavoidable in traditional bass-reflex designs are completely removed. The passive radiator’s suspension provides a restoring force below its tuning frequency, significantly reducing inaudible subsonic excursions. This results in lower intermodulation distortion within the audible range and allows for very low tuning frequencies in an exceptionally compact cabinet, delivering deep, precise bass without compromise.
