Description
Vicoustic’s Flexi Glue Ultra is designed for use with a variety of materials. Its chemical composition is non-aggressive, and therefore certified in accordance with the most recent European legislation, allowing Flexi Glue Ultra to be used in any environment. Flexi Glue Ultra is also perfect for use with polyurethane (foam) or polystyrene (EPS) Vicoustic solutions, ensuring their correct and safe application to a room’s surfaces.
Flexi Glue Ultra was designed in collaboration with leading chemical industry professionals. Testing has revealed excellent strength and versatility when applied to a range of materials.
Flexi Glue Ultra Application
Before applying Flexi Glue Ultra, ensure that all surfaces intended for bonding are completely dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, or any other contaminants. This preparation is crucial to achieve a strong and lasting adhesion.
To apply the glue, carefully cut the tip of the glue nozzle at a 45-degree angle using a box cutter. Using a pressure gun, dispense the adhesive onto the back of the acoustic panel, maintaining a consistent bead. It’s important to leave a margin of 4 to 5 centimeters between the edges of the panel and the glue line to avoid excess squeeze-out when pressed onto the surface.
Once the adhesive is applied, you must attach the panel within 10 minutes to ensure maximum bonding effectiveness. Position the panel precisely on the wall or ceiling, then press it firmly against the surface for at least 15 seconds to secure a strong initial hold.
Following these steps will help guarantee a neat, durable, and professional installation of your acoustic panels using Flexi Glue Ultra.
Flexi Glue Ultra Storage Conditions
The glue should be stored in a dry place between 10-25 degrees Celsius (50-77 degrees Fahrenheit). Do not exceed 25 degrees Celsius (77 Fahrenheit) or subject the glue to less than 10 degrees (50 Fahrenheit) for a long period. Keep away from damp areas, direct sunlight and heat sources.
