Better Frequency Response
The KEF Q 250c has a frequency response range of 68-28 kHz @ ±3dB (57 Hz-50 kHz @ -6dB) and a power range of 10-100 Watts. With a minimum frequency of 68 Hz, it's does not produce a strong bass response from the Q250c, so depending on your intended use, a subwoofer can help extend the frequency range. But this speaker gives a good bass for those who listens soft music and watches classic movies.
Easy to Drive Speaker
The 8 ohms is a fairly standard impedance for stereo speakers and amplifiers, so the Q-250c by KEF is not considered a difficult speaker to drive in terms of nominal impedance. With a sensitivity level of just 87dB, the KEF Q250c is a difficult speaker to control in terms of sensitivity. If you want to listen to music loud, be sure to choose a high-power amplifier.
