Linn HDMI Upgrade Module

Description

The Linn HDMI Upgrade Module adds flexible HDMI switching to a compatible Linn Selekt DSM, making it easier to connect a television and multiple entertainment sources through one Linn music system. With four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output featuring eARC capability, the module can form the connection hub for devices such as games consoles, streaming boxes, disc players and compatible televisions.

Linn HDMI Upgrade Module for Selekt DSM

The Linn HDMI Upgrade Module expands the connectivity of compatible Linn Selekt DSM systems, allowing multiple home-entertainment sources to be connected through a single integrated hub. It features four HDMI inputs for devices such as televisions, games consoles, media players and other compatible sources, along with one HDMI output that supports eARC for audio return from compatible televisions.

Designed to simplify home-entertainment integration, the module enables HDMI switching within the Selekt DSM, helping bring connected video sources and audio playback together in one system. Its eARC capability also allows compatible high-resolution audio from a television to be routed back to the Selekt DSM. The module can be used as part of a compatible surround-sound configuration when paired with the required surround-processing hardware.

Compatibility Check Required

The Linn HDMI Upgrade Module is an internal hardware upgrade. Compatibility must be confirmed for the exact Selekt DSM model and existing configuration before ordering. Professional installation and system configuration are required.

Linn HDMI Upgrade Module with eARC

The Linn HDMI Upgrade Module is designed for compatible Selekt DSM configurations that require more HDMI connectivity than the standard television connection provides.

Once installed, the module provides four HDMI inputs for external sources and one HDMI output. The output also supports eARC, allowing compatible televisions to return audio to the Linn system through the same HDMI connection.

Connect your television and entertainment sources

The four HDMI inputs can be used for compatible video sources such as a games console, streaming device, Blu-ray player or television set-top box. Audio from the selected source can then be handled through the connected Linn system, reducing the need to switch cables or manage several separate audio connections.

Optional surround-sound system integration

The HDMI Upgrade Module can also form part of a compatible Linn surround-sound configuration. Linn’s DSP Surround Sound Module requires the HDMI Upgrade Module, so both components may be needed when planning certain multichannel Selekt DSM systems.
