Linn K40 Speaker Cable 4-Core Compact Speaker Cable, 100m Drum

Description

The Linn K40 Speaker Cable is a compact four-core loudspeaker cable supplied as a 100-metre drum for custom Linn system installations and longer speaker-cable runs. Its four-core construction brings multiple conductors together within one compact outer cable, making it suitable for planned loudspeaker installations where several conductors need to follow the same physical route between system electronics and loudspeakers.

Compact Four-Core Speaker Cable

The Linn K40 combines four speaker-cable conductors within a single compact cable. This arrangement can simplify routing when multiple conductors need to travel along the same path, rather than requiring several completely separate cables. Its compact design supports cable planning for custom audio installations.

Multiple Conductors Within One Cable Run

A standard loudspeaker connection may require two conductors, while more involved installation requirements can call for additional speaker-level connections. The Linn K40 keeps four conductors together within one cable, helping simplify the physical routing of those connections. The appropriate wiring arrangement depends on the loudspeakers, amplification and overall system configuration.

Supplied as a 100-Metre Drum

The Linn K40 is supplied as a complete 100-metre drum rather than as a fixed pair of pre-cut loudspeaker cables. This allows individual lengths to be measured, cut and prepared according to equipment positioning, loudspeaker placement and the chosen cable route. The drum format is useful when several cable runs need to be created from a single supply or when an installation requires substantial overall cable length.

Installation-Focused Cable Planning

The Linn K40 is designed for custom loudspeaker installations where cable lengths can be planned around the individual system. Its four-core construction and 100-metre drum format provide flexibility when preparing speaker-cable runs for different equipment arrangements. The required cable length and wiring configuration should be determined according to the actual installation.

Linn K40 or Linn K60?

The Linn K40 and Linn K60 are both compact multi-core loudspeaker cables, but they have different conductor counts and supply lengths. The K40 features a four-core construction and is supplied as a 100-metre drum, while the K60 features a six-core construction and is supplied in a 25-metre drum. The appropriate option depends on the number of conductors required and the total cable length needed for the installation.

Installation note, Confirm the required cable length, conductor arrangement and compatibility with the loudspeakers and amplification before ordering. Cable cutting, termination and installation services should be confirmed separately.
