Why choose the Linn Organik DAC Upgrade for Klimax 350 Exakt?

The Linn Organik DAC Upgrade for Klimax 350 Exakt allows owners of compatible loudspeakers to introduce Linn’s latest DAC architecture without replacing the complete speaker system.

It is designed for customers looking to extract greater musical performance from an established Klimax 350 Exakt system through an authorised hardware upgrade.

Linn’s in-house Organik DAC technology

Organik is Linn’s first entirely in-house digital-to-analogue converter architecture. It combines FPGA-based processing with a discrete conversion stage, allowing Linn to design and optimise the digital processing and analogue conversion sections as one integrated system.

Designed for compatible Klimax 350 Exakt loudspeakers

This upgrade is specifically listed for compatible Linn Klimax 350 Exakt loudspeakers.

Compatibility must be confirmed against the exact speaker model, serial numbers and existing internal specification before the upgrade is ordered.

Digital conversion within the Exakt speaker system

Klimax 350 Exakt loudspeakers receive a digital signal through Linn’s Exakt architecture before the signal is divided into the frequencies required by the individual drive units.

The DAC stage then converts the processed digital signal into analogue audio for amplification within the loudspeaker system.

Authorised installation required

The Linn Organik DAC Upgrade for Klimax 350 Exakt is not a customer-installed accessory. The loudspeakers must be assessed and the upgrade completed by an authorised Linn specialist to ensure compatibility, correct installation and appropriate system configuration.

System setup and optimisation

Following installation, the system may require configuration and checking to ensure the upgraded loudspeakers are correctly recognised within the wider Exakt system. Speaker positioning, network configuration and Linn Space Optimisation settings should also be reviewed as part of the upgrade process.
