Linn Standard Sub-Chassis

The Linn Standard Sub-Chassis is an aluminium structural component designed for compatible Linn Sondek LP12 turntables. It forms a central part of the suspended turntable assembly, supporting the main bearing, platter and tonearm mounting system.

Armboard supplied separately

The Linn Standard Armboard is a separate component and is not included with this product. The correct armboard must be selected according to the tonearm and mounting arrangement being used.

Suitable for LP12 rebuilding and servicing

The Standard Sub-Chassis may be fitted during a complete LP12 rebuild, suspension service or structural repair. This also provides an opportunity to inspect the bearing, springs, grommets, wiring, armboard and other internal components.

Professional installation required

Installing a sub-chassis requires the LP12 to be dismantled and accurately rebuilt. The suspension, bearing, platter level, armboard and tonearm geometry must all be correctly configured once the component has been fitted.
