The MA352 2-Channel Hybrid Integrated Amplifier combines the warm, rich sound of vacuum tubes with the power and precision of solid-state technology through McIntosh's Hybrid Drive™ technology. This innovative design features a vacuum tube preamplifier to deliver smooth and musical tonal characteristics, while the solid-state power amplifier ensures strong and reliable output. The MA352 delivers 200 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers and an impressive 320 watts per channel into 4-ohm speakers, providing ample power for a wide range of speaker systems. Additionally, it includes a 5-band tone control, allowing users to finely tailor the sound to their preferences, making it both a high-performance and highly customizable audio solution.

The MA352 includes our Hybrid Drive technology that uses the best of vacuum tubes and solid state to produce the best sound performance. An all analog design, the MA352 has a vacuum tube preamplifier section that is powered by a pair of 12AX7A and a pair of 12AT7 vacuum tubes; its output stage is a direct coupled solid state amplifier that outputs 200 Watts per channel into 8 Ohm speakers or 320 Watts per channel into 4 Ohm speakers enough power to properly drive virtually any set of loudspeakers. Dual scale blue Watt meters give an accurate readout of power output for both speaker impedances.

The MA352 is equipped with a host of advanced McIntosh technologies that enhance performance, reliability, and user experience. It features Power Guard®, a patented system that prevents harsh clipping by monitoring and adjusting the input signal in real time, protecting both the amplifier and connected speakers. To further ensure safety, the Sentry Monitor™ provides fuse-less short-circuit protection by automatically shutting down the output stage before current levels become unsafe, and restoring operation once conditions stabilize. McIntosh Monogrammed Heatsinks™, paired with high-current output transistors, help reduce warm-up time and maintain thermal balance for optimal sound quality.

For personal listening, the MA352 includes a High Drive headphone amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD®), which delivers a more natural and spacious headphone experience. A 5-band analog tone control gives users the ability to manually fine-tune audio across five frequency bands, each adjustable by ±12dB. Additional features like Home Theater Pass Through, Power Control, and Data Ports make it easy to integrate the MA352 into a larger McIntosh or home theater system, streamlining operation and ensuring seamless connectivity.
