The MPC1500 Power Controller is designed to protect and enhance your home audio system by delivering clean, stable, and noise-free power. Modern AC lines often carry interference from a wide range of electronic devices, and the MPC1500 effectively shields your components from this noise while also offering robust surge protection. With the ability to connect up to 12 components, it ensures that every part of your audio setup receives consistent, high-quality power for optimal sonic performance.

At its core, the MPC1500 features a large, quiet toroidal isolation transformer specially engineered to act as a low-pass filter, removing unwanted noise from the AC line. It also incorporates a quick-acting surge suppression module that activates when voltage rises slightly above normal levels. This excess voltage is safely diverted to the circuit’s neutral wire rather than the ground preventing potential damage to sensitive audio equipment. Unlike traditional power conditioners, this suppression module is non-sacrificial and does not require replacement after a surge event.

The MPC1500 is available with either six medical-grade Type B1 (NEMA 5-15R) duplex receptacles or six premium Type F1 (Schuko) single receptacles, with each country receiving the appropriate version for local compatibility. Two receptacles remain active at all times, while the other four can be customized using rear-panel Power Control switches. Front and rear LED indicators clearly show the current operational status of each outlet. The iconic McIntosh blue watt meters have been adapted to display real-time incoming voltage and current draw, appropriately scaled for regional electrical standards. Completing its refined aesthetic, every MPC1500 includes the classic black glass front panel, blue meters, illuminated logo, precision control knobs, and aluminum end caps making it both a performance tool and a visual centerpiece in any audio system.
