Description
The Monitor Audio Platinum PLW215 II Subwoofer is a powerhouse low-frequency performer, engineered to deliver extraordinary bass output and control in high-end audio systems. It features twin 15” C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) drivers, each triple-suspended to achieve a substantial 4 cm of excursion, ensuring deep, powerful, and accurate bass reproduction.
Each driver is powered by a dedicated DSP-controlled amplifier, allowing precise tuning and dynamic performance across all listening levels. The subwoofer is highly customizable thanks to Monitor Audio’s SubConnect software, which enables users to tailor in-room response via the top panel rotary dial or directly through a connected laptop.
The PLW215 II offers four user presets per input, including built-in Flat, Music, Movie, and Impact modes to suit various content types. A built-in Night Mode helps to reduce the dynamic range of louder sequences, maintaining an enjoyable listening experience at lower volumes.
Additional features include a high-current SMPSU, 12V trigger input, infrared remote control, front panel IR receiver, and a 3.5 mm microphone input (with microphone included) for optimal room correction. This subwoofer is built for uncompromising performance in elite stereo and home cinema environments.
