The Parasound Halo A21+ delivers commanding power with effortless musicality. At 300 W per channel into 8 Ω (500 W into 4 Ω), and up to 1,000 W bridged, it drives any loudspeaker with authority while keeping the sound spacious, controlled, and fatigue-free.
Based on legendary John Curl's circuit design, the A21+ refines Parasound's most celebrated power amp for today's systems blending raw performance with elegant simplicity. Balanced XLR and RCA inputs, 2 Ω stability, and flexible bridging make it an ideal match for both stereo and home theater setups.

The Parasound Halo A 21+ Power Amplifier is a high-performance power amplifier featuring circuitry designed by legendary engineer John Curl, combining high-bias Class A/AB operation with powerful, detailed audio reproduction. It delivers 300 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 500 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms, with both channels driven, and provides 1,000 watts into 8 ohms in bridged mode. With a peak current capability of 60 amperes per channel, it remains stable with speaker impedance dips to 1.5 ohms, making it suitable for demanding speaker loads. Its direct-coupled signal path eliminates capacitors and inductors from the audio path, while discrete balanced input circuits and gold-plated RCA input and loop output jacks provide flexible connectivity.
The amplifier features a JFET input stage, MOSFET driver stage, and 16 beta-matched 15-ampere, 60 MHz bipolar output transistors. A 1.3 kVA shielded toroidal transformer with independent windings for each channel works alongside separate power supplies for the input, driver, and output stages, supported by 108,000 µF of output-stage filter capacitance and Harris hyper-fast soft-recovery bridge diode rectifiers. Full power is rated down to 5 Hz for deep, unrestricted low-frequency performance. DC servo and relay protection circuits, AC turn-on inrush surge protection with relay bypass, and automatic turn-on via a 12V trigger or audio sensing add convenience and protection. The amplifier is completed with custom CHK Infinium five-way speaker binding posts and a four-rack-space chassis with rear carry handles; rack-mount hardware is included.
