Features
The Halo P5 incorporates a high-performance Burr-Brown 192kHz/24-bit DAC for pristine digital-to-analog conversion, supported by USB, optical, and coaxial digital audio inputs, along with four analog inputs and a dedicated phono stage for both MM and MC cartridges. Maintaining a pure analog signal path from input to output, it offers sophisticated analog bass management with a variable 20–140Hz high-pass crossover, plus subwoofer on/off and level adjustment via remote. It features both 80Hz low-pass and full-range subwoofer outputs, the latter also usable for mono listening zones. Flexible connection options include variable and fixed stereo outputs, a bypass input for integrating surround sound systems or music streamers, and input level matching to balance source volumes. Convenient touches like default and favorite volume memory, input renaming, and a 12dB auto-gain stage for the front AUX input make operation seamless. Sound can be fine-tuned using bass, treble, and balance controls adjustable from the back-lit remote control while the dedicated headphone amplifier ensures private listening is just as engaging. The front-panel LCD display offers adjustable brightness, and integration is made easy with two-way RS232 control, a Control4 driver, 12V trigger output, and rear-panel IR input. Designed for efficiency, it consumes just 0.5W in standby mode to meet Energy Star and EU standards, and is compatible with the optional RMK11 1U rack mount kit for professional installations.
