In just 1U, it delivers 90 W x2 into 8 Ω (150 W x2 into 4/2 Ω) or 200 W bridged mono. A fully discrete Class‑AB design with a high‑current toroidal transformer supplies clean current, while a switchable 20/40 Hz high‑pass filter and dual A/B speaker outputs make real‑world setups easy.

The Parasound NewClassic 275 v.2 Two-Channel Power Amplifier is designed to deliver reliable, high-quality performance for stereo audio and home theatre systems. It provides 90 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 150 watts per channel into 4 or 2 ohms, with both channels driven, while bridged mono operation delivers 200 watts into 8 or 4 ohms. With a peak current capability of 20 amperes per channel and a dedicated load selector switch for stable 2-ohm operation, it offers flexibility when driving compatible speakers. Its fully discrete circuitry and high-current toroidal transformer support consistent power delivery, while the stereo/mono bridging switch allows flexible system configuration.
Two pairs of speaker outputs with front-panel A/B buttons make speaker selection convenient, and a rear-mounted lockout switch prevents accidental operation of these controls. A switchable high-pass filter provides 20 Hz and 40 Hz settings, while automatic power-on and off can be managed through a DC trigger with looping output or audio signal sensing with two sensitivity settings. Additional features include an efficient, low-heat design, DC servo and relay protection circuits, rear-mounted left and right gain controls, and front-panel indicators for standby, channel status, and high temperature. Gold-plated RCA input jacks and heavy-duty 24-karat gold-plated five-way speaker terminals ensure dependable connectivity. A rear-panel 115/230V selector allows the amplifier to be configured for the appropriate mains voltage.
