80F/X-LS Features

The Polk 80F/X-LS in-ceiling surround speaker from the Vanishing Series combines high-performance audio with a virtually invisible design. Featuring Polk’s exclusive wafer-thin Sheer-Grille™, which protrudes only 7mm from the ceiling, the speaker blends effortlessly into any décor. The acoustically inert grille with ultra-small perforations ensures dynamic, unimpeded sound and even coverage, even in large rooms. Dual offset ring radiator tweeters extend high-frequency response for exceptional detail and imaging, while the customizable imaging toggle lets you easily switch between “Solid” for focused effects and “Diffuse” for ambient rear-channel surround sound. Dual bandpass bass ports enhance low-frequency performance, eliminating chuffing and allowing the angled woofer to produce surprisingly deep, smooth bass in a compact enclosure. Timbre-matched to Polk’s LSi speakers, the 80F/X-LS integrates seamlessly into hybrid systems with traditional and built-in speakers. Installation is quick and precise with Perfect Fit templates, a precision flange, and Polk’s patented Rotating Cam system for secure, vibration-free mounting.
