The Duecanali 1604 DSP+ is designed to work with Lo-Z (from 2 Ω ) and with 70V/100V distributed lines: any mixed impedance output loads can be realised.A fully integrated state-of-the-art DSP yields extensive system management functionality. In addition to sound shaping and limiter functions in a unique Powersoft style, the DSP hardware and ArmoníaPlus software enable compliance with IEC 60849 for the crucial requirements of sound systems for emergency purposes.DSP+ versions extend signal routing capabilities with the integration of AES67 digital audio networking architecture. Features
The system is powered by Powersoft’s universal switch-mode power supply with Power Factor Correction, tolerant up to 400VAC, featuring a patented ripple cancellation filter, low inrush limiting, and a detachable IEC C19/22.2 mains cable (16A EU, 20A USA). It offers full protection with AC shutdown, clip limiter, DC and VHF safeguards, short-circuit reset, long-term RMS limiting, and thermal protection up to 80°C, supported by a temperature-controlled variable-speed fan and LCD temperature forecasting. Designed for efficiency, it has a fixed-frequency output stage for high sound accuracy, compact 1 RU size, lightweight 7 kg build, Phoenix connectors, and remotely switchable dual inputs. The loudspeaker system supports low-impedance and 70V/100V Hi-Z lines with per-channel high-pass filters (35Hz/70Hz), mixed Lo-Z/Hi-Z configurations, and bridged operation. Alarm and GPI/O functions include NC/NO contacts, remote ON/OFF, and remote VCA control. DSP is based on the TI C6000 platform with dual 24-bit/48 kHz AD/DA converters, providing per-channel EQ, filters, up to 100 ms delay, Active DampingControl™, and advanced limiters. Remote control and monitoring are available through ArmoníaPlus software, a dedicated WebApp, and hardware options for attenuation (0–26 dB), filters, output mode selection, and adjustable gain (26–35 dB).
