WiiM Mini Streamer

The WiiM Mini supports AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Alexa Cast, offering convenient streaming options. It is a streamer, not an amplifier, and can be connected to powered speakers or to an amplifier/receiver for passive speakers.

The WiiM Mini supports up to 24-bit/192 kHz audio from supported sources, with 106 dB SNR and -92 dB THD+N analog Aux-out. It also features RoomFit™ room correction, a 10-band Graphic EQ and Parametric EQ.

RoomFit™ room correction helps adapt playback to the acoustic behavior of your space. Start with one of 24 EQ presets, adjust a 10-band Graphic EQ, or use the 10-band Parametric EQ for more precise control. Per-source EQ lets a turntable, TV, and streaming service keep their own tuning.

Your Records, CDs, and TV Can Join the WiiM System.

Connect an analog source through Aux In, then play it across a group made entirely of WiiM devices. Auto-sensing can switch to Aux In when a signal is detected. WiiM Mini receives playback through AirPlay 2 and Alexa Cast. Aux and Bluetooth inputs cannot be forwarded to HomePods or Echo speakers in those ecosystems. Use a WiiM-only group to share Aux and Bluetooth inputs.

Step 1: Connect WiiM Mini

Connect the WiiM Mini to your stereo system and power source. Wait 30 seconds for it to boot up.

Step 2: Set Up Using the WiiM Home App

Open the WiiM Home app and follow the prompts to set up the WiiM Mini, including Wi-Fi connection, firmware update and audio settings.

Step 3: Optimise Your Room's Sound

Run RoomFit™ in the app to automatically optimise the sound for your room.

Step 4: Start Streaming

Stream from your favourite music service or a physical audio source and enjoy Hi-Res audio.

If the app cannot find the WiiM Mini, confirm that your phone and WiiM Mini are connected to the same network. Then update the app and restart the WiiM Mini, router and phone before running the setup again.

Use the WiiM Home app for system control, supported music apps for direct playback, or voice control through a compatible Siri or Alexa device. The top-panel controls keep play/pause and volume adjustments close at hand. Add the optional WiiM Voice Remote when you want tactile control away from your phone. The optional voice remote is not included in the WiiM Mini package.

Group WiiM devices for synchronised playback, create a stereo pair with compatible setups, or play different music in every room. WiiM multi-room audio can share streaming services, Bluetooth input and Aux In across WiiM devices.

AirPlay 2 and Alexa multi-room groups can combine compatible devices for network-based streaming. Their capabilities and setup are controlled by those respective ecosystems.

High-Res Audio

The WiiM Mini supports playback of Hi-Res lossless audio content from services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer and more. It supports up to 192kHz, 24-bit audio output via the optical line out.

The integrated TI stereo DAC provides high quality analogue audio output with 106-dB SNR, and -92dB THD+N performance, outstanding in all audio categories.

Gapless Playback

Precise gapless playback can be very important to your listening experience. With precise gapless playback, the playback timing is guaranteed to be identical to the source. The WiiM Mini will not introduce gaps or overlaps (crossfading) between successive “continuous” tracks such as live recordings or concept albums.

Multiroom and stereo pairing

The WiiM Mini features perfect audio synchronisation and seamless device control via the companion App allowing you to group multiple devices together to create a complete connected system throughout your home. Through careful hardware and software optimisation, the WiiM Mini can achieve less than 150uS (0.00015s!) synchronisation accuracy among speakers as long as the speakers are on the same wireless network. Thus, your speaker system can be located wherever your Wi-Fi network covers.

In addition, you can join two speakers each connected to a WiiM Mini as a stereo pair for a wider, more immersive sound stage.

Auto calibration of audio delay

Any connected receiver or speaker may introduce audio path latency due to the different hardware, software or DSP processing involve in that device. To maintain the synchronisation of each system, the WiiM mini can measure the audio path delay automatically. By leveraging the on-device microphone and proprietary algorithm, the entire audio path latency is measured automatically when it’s connected with a receiver or speaker. The latency value will be adjusted to maintain the perfect audio synchronisation in wireless multi-room or multi-channel playback.

Adaptive EQ

When the WiiM Mini’s Adaptive EQ is enabled, the music genre information and other tags included in the audio content’s meta data are used to adjust the EQ in real time – either bringing rich audio to capture every music detail or making human voices clearer in podcasts.

With the WiiM Home app, you can easily browse all your favourite music services without jumping between multiple apps. Enjoy your favourite audio from all services in one single App. Additionally, you can control the device EQ, setup a music alarm, and create a personalised routine via the WiiM home app.

Music Alarm

Wake up to, or sleep with your favourite music, radio station, or podcast online. The WiiM Home app slowly adjusts the volume during a music alarm or sleep timer for better a sleep and rise.

Key Features

The WiiM Mini supports Hi-Res audio playback up to 192 kHz/24-bit and wireless multi-room audio, allowing multiple units to be grouped into a connected audio system. It supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and AirPlay 2, along with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Setup is easy through the WiiM Home app, and it works with Siri and Alexa smart devices. It can also be grouped with HomePod and Amazon Echo devices.

An Aux input allows you to connect an analogue source, while analogue and SPDIF audio outputs provide audio connectivity options. A USB-C to USB-A cable is included for power. The WiiM Mini is powered through its USB-C port and requires a standard 5V 1A USB-A charger, which is not included. A suitable USB 5V 1A power adapter with a 240V AC wall plug is available separately.
