The Zidoo Z30 PRO is a next-generation 8K Ultra HD media player designed for premium home theater and high-fidelity audio-visual experiences. Powered by the latest Amlogic S928X-K 64-bit penta-core processor (Cortex-A76 + A55), it combines high performance with advanced multimedia processing capabilities. Backed by 6GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage, it ensures seamless multitasking and generous space for apps and media content.
With HDMI 2.1® support, the Z30 PRO delivers 8K@60Hz point-to-point output, complete with comprehensive HDR compatibility including HDR10, HLG, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. It supports the latest AV1, VP9, H.265, AVS3, and AVS2 video codecs, alongside 12-bit color depth and the BT.2020 wide color gamut, providing vivid and lifelike images.
The integrated VS10 image engine allows for customizable tone mapping and significant image quality enhancement across a range of content. For storage enthusiasts, the built-in 3.5" SATA HDD bay supports up to 16TB, and external CD-ROM drives are also supported for original CD playback.
Music lovers will appreciate its support for lossless audio formats such as DSD (SACD ISO, DSF, DFF), WAV, APE, and DTS, enhanced by the upgraded Music Player 8.0 with a new user interface, personalised settings, and metadata matching. Running on Android 11, the Z30 PRO offers increased system stability and performance. It accurately processes HDR10 static metadata (MaxFall, MaxCLL) and HDR10+ dynamic metadata, delivering optimal brightness and contrast frame-by-frame and scene-by-scene. Dolby Vision support includes both LLDV (Player-led) and Standard (TV-led) modes.
It ensures automatic frame rate (23.976Hz) and resolution switching, smooth local and online playback, and supports full BD/UHD Blu-ray menu navigation, including gapless branching for complex MPLS structures. Subtitle support is comprehensive, including special effects, auto-download, and dual forced subtitle options for Blu-ray and MKV.
Networking is robust with support for NFS, SMB v1/v2/v3, UPnP, WebDAV, and a built-in SMB server. The Z30 PRO is smart-home ready with HDMI CEC, RS232, Control4 integration, and Wake-on-LAN (WOL) functionality. Control is seamless through the exclusive Zidoo Controller App for iOS and Android, optimised for both mobile and tablet use.
